Aeration plays a crucial role in keeping the conditions at our golf courses in great shape. Aeration opens the soil and helps the soil breathe easier and makes for healthier turf. While it may provide a short-term inconvenience, it is ultimately to the golfer's benefit that we aerate each course one day in the spring and one day in the fall each year. Weather permitting, the schedule is as follows:
Spring 2023
St. Andrews Golf Club
- Monday, April 10 - Aerification on front nine
- Tuesday, April 11 - Aerification on back nine
- April 10-14: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club
- Monday, April 17 - Aerification on the South Course
- Tuesday, April 18 - Aerification on the North Course
- Wednesday, April 19 - Aerification on the West Course
- April 17-21: Discounts will be given for a round that includes an aerated green: $5 discount for a 9-hole round / $8 discount for an 18-hole round
- Monday, April 24 - Aerification on the Par 3 Course and Short Game Area (chipping and putting closed until 4pm)
- April 24-28: $5 off green fees on the Par 3 Course
Discount does not apply to Youth On Course members
Fall 2023
