Mask Order in effect beginning Friday, July 3rd
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 20-52 and action by the Johnson County Commission adopting that order, face masks are required inside the clubhouses at St. Andrews Golf Club and Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club. You may only remove the mask while eating or drinking at Club 27 Restaurant or the Greenside Grill (if only socializing at the table you need to wear your mask). If you leave the table, even to go to the restroom, you’ll need to wear your face mask.
Per the order, masks are not required while outdoors if you are able to maintain a 6 foot distance from others with only infrequent or incidental moments of closer proximity, or if you are from the same household.
If you are golfing and you want to come inside to pick up food and drink at the turn, you will need to wear the mask at all times inside the clubhouse.
We appreciate your understanding toward our continued efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please note that with our Pro Shops, Club Restaurant and Greenside Grill open, we have social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting and other appropriate COVID-19 procedures in place.
To manage the cart fleet and parking spaces, we have instituted foursomes (no fivesomes allowed) and the wave method of tee times to regulate the number of golfers and the times of day so that every person who needs or wants a golf cart (we average 70% ridership) will be able to have one.
2 riders per cart (temporarily, you may ride one person per cart if you are not comfortable riding with a buddy). If you are in the same household, it is mandatory to ride together.
The Pro Shops are open for golfer check-in
Golf Carts: Cleaned and disinfected after each use. Scorecards are available on the carts or in the Pro Shop.
Club 27 Restaurant is open for walk-ins only, except Friday and Saturday evenings, which are open for dinner reservations.
Social Distancing: All staff members and customers are expected to keep 6 feet of distance between themselves and others.
Cups No Longer Raised: The hole is not as deep as normal. There is a foam insert to keep the ball from going all the way down to prevent reaching into the hole.
Hole-In-One: A hole-in-one is possible. For a hole-in-one to count, the ball must land and stay in the hole.
Restrooms on the course are open
Course Amenities: Ball washers, water coolers, benches, bag stands, rakes etc. have been removed from the course. Do not touch the flags.
Bunkers: Rakes have been removed from the course and bunkers are deemed Ground Under Repair.
Absolutely no outside alchoholic beverages allowed. Because we have a state liquor license, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the clubhouse and are the only alcoholic beverages allowed on the City's golf course properties. All other alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
Adult Leagues: Adult leagues have started. Click here for listings.
Junior Leagues for the summer have been cancelled except the Par 3 League at Sykes/Lady, which started June 1. Click here for details
Banquets and Events: Opening date for St. Andrews Banquets and Club 27 Restaurant TBD. For information about any events already scheduled for this summer or fall, please contact the following directors:
